Return & Refund Policy
Items are non-returnable except for special circumstances.
To apply for a return exemption, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of item by return email, DPF@theanswerline.com, with reason for return. Please put RETURN EXEMPTION in subject title with your name for quickest response. All return exemptions must be made in writing. If exemption is granted, item must be in original packaging, undamaged, uninstalled condition. Item may not have any wrench marks or show any signs of attempted installation. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges (both ways). Insurance is suggested and tracking is to be provided to The Answer Line upon shipping. Item to be shipped within 7 days of exemption or exemption expires and must be reapplied for. A 30% restocking charge will be incurred for all granted returns except for defective items.
Special order and discontinued items are not returnable. No exemptions will be granted. All sales are final on special order and discontinued items.
DAMAGES & DEFECTIVE ITEMS
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct it. Return authorization is required unless waived in writing. Exchange or refund is subject to inspection. For damage during shipping, buyer agrees to retain product and packaging until disposition is instructed by seller. Inspection may be required via on-site visit or via photos, video call, or authorized return to seller. Buyer agrees to pay return shipping charges for inspection when seller deems necessary. Seller agrees to reimburse documented shipping charges if/when defect is verified/validated.
