This repair kit fits the 3025 fill valve/ballcock. It was produced from the late 1950’s until 1974. At that point there was a number change. Originally this float valve was produced with a brass cap and plunger assembly, but in March 1969 there was a running change to a “plastic cap”. It is used in many American Standard toilets.
